Attention Principal And Coach

The CKFOA would like to recommend the following suggestions for your consideration as a pre-game check. We feel they will help in the administration of the game and provide a wholesome atmosphere for all people involved.

1. Have the field properly marked.

2. Have the following items available at game time:

A. Official ball with proper markings.

B. A timing device in proper working order.

C. A yardage chain and down marker.

D. Reliable people on hand 30 minutes prior to game time for chains and down marker.

3. Request school officials to erect a barrier separating the spectators from the playing area.

4. Provide private showers and dressing facilities for officials before and after the contest.

5. Have guards posted to permit only authorized persons access to playing field.

6. Provide parking for officials near dressing facilities or field.

7. PAY OFFICIALS BEFORE GAME TIME IN THE LOCKERROOM.

8. Home management is responsible for game starting as scheduled.
