The Central Kentucky Football Officials Association ( CKFOA) services primarily the Tenth and Eleventh Region in supplying football officials for Varsity and Jr. Varisty football games. The CKFOA also services schools outside of the Tenth and Eleven Region when those schools elect to use CKFOA officials. The CKFOA also assists other officials associations when requested.

The CKFOA Officials are assigned by Curt Duff who has been the assigning secretary since 1999.

The CKFOA has been servicing schools in the Central Kentucky Area since prior to 1956, prior to actually having an assigning secretary and policy board. Previous assigning secretaries were Shirley Watts 1973 - 1999 and Skeeter Johnson 1957 - 1973?

The CKFOA has had two recipients of the KHSAA annual officials award, George Lusby in 1999 and Richard Mattmiller 2001.

HELP WANTED!!!!
Written by Administrator

The local organization Kentucky Indoors {next to Quest Community Church} is in need of Refs for their Saturday morning kids program. One of the men working blew out his knee, another had to drop out.

There are three age levels ranging from 5 - 12. The games are Saturday beginning at 9am. Usually there are two, sometimes three, back to back games. Two officials work each game.

They pay $25 per game. I know that is not much but it is good experience. This league is well managed and the leadership is good about not tolerating crap from coaches or parent.

If you'd like to help out, gain some experience and earn a little money call Keith Webb at 859-806-2239. Keith is looking for help immediately.
